Preventing Teacher Burnout through Awareness, Emotions and Positive Psychology
Preventing Teacher Burnout through Awareness, Emotions and Positive Psychology
Course overview
This Erasmus+ training course focuses on preventing professional burnout among teachers by addressing the real working conditions, expectations, and pressures in school environments. Rather than offering generic stress-management techniques, the course supports teachers in developing practical, sustainable strategies for maintaining well-being while meeting professional responsibilities.
The course explores the early signs of burnout, the factors that contribute to chronic overload in teaching, and realistic ways to improve balance, boundaries, and resilience at work. Participants reflect on their professional roles, workload patterns, and communication habits, and learn practical tools that can be applied immediately in their daily school practice.
The training combines guided reflection, practical exercises, and peer exchange, creating a supportive learning environment focused on long-term sustainability in the teaching profession.
